I'm amazed you got through THE NIGHTLAND. Bought a new edition of it in August and am still working on it.

ReplyDeleteWonderful. My compliments to you, the filmmaker and your feline co-star.
ReplyDeleteBooks are indeed meant to be read. A well-worn book – as opposed to one that has simply been "damaged" – can hold great attraction. Clearly someone, perhaps many people, thought it worth repeated visits.
Thank you Brian. I agree - a worn book, or one with signs of former ownership, can have a lot of character, which for me just adds to the pleasure.
ReplyDeleteJust published a review of Phyllis Paul's ECHO OF GUILT on my blog. It's brief.
