Besides being Epiphany, January 6 is the presumed birthday of Sherlock Holmes, so it's doubly appropriate that it should be for him aay of reflection and discovery. As it happens, the annual meeting of The Baker Street Irregulars fell precisely on the 6th during a cold weekend in New York. --md
